My love for fashion started young. As a kid, I always felt different; quiet, creative, and a bit of a loner in a big family. One day in the mall, I saw a man airbrushing T-shirts. The way he blended colors, the way people watched him work, it sparked something in me. I remember thinking, “That could be me one day.” That moment planted the first seed of wanting my own clothing line.

But the moment that truly shaped me came years later.

In 2012, I lost both of my parents. The grief was heavy, but the weight that cut deepest was knowing that my children, and the younger generation in my family, would never get to experience their love firsthand. My parents were the glue, the source of strength, unity, and joy, and without them, everything felt unstable.

But in the laughter of my nieces, nephews, and later my own children, I found something stronger than the pain: purpose. Their joy stitched my heart back together and reminded me why we fight, why we build, and why we never quit.

Stitchd Hearts was born from that truth, from wanting to honor my parents’ legacy and inspire the next generation with creativity, confidence, and self-expression. I wanted to build something that showed my family and anyone going through something that purpose can come from pain, and that your story is your strength.

Every piece is stitched with meaning; a symbol of resilience, ambition, and the love that drives the hustle.
